If you want to permanently convert a canoe into a sliding seat sculling boat, buy a Scout Rig.
Designed to clamp to the gunwales of a canoe, our Scout Rig will allow you to row your canoe as a single or double sculling boat, or with passengers or pets, depending upon the interior length of the boat. If you live on the water and you have a canoe you’d like to convert longterm, the Scout Rig is perfect. It’s less expensive than our RowWing but has the same pulling geometry, wheels and rail system.
